Lisa is a writer, actress, producer, song writer, singer and poet, who has written and starred in one-woman plays for the LA Arts Festival in Los Angeles and in New York City. A vocal sound healing expert she presents and teaches internationally. Fueled by her own personal revelation around the importance of bonding, she founded Resonant Sounds, LLC in 2010 to raise awareness, and create products to support the health and well-being of parents and their babies. Lisa composed the clinically tested songs of the award-winning book/CD set, Safe In The Arms Of Love: Deepening The Essential Bond With Your Baby. Lisa sits on the board of the Association for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Health (APPPAH).

Gary is a composer, producer, and public speaker who has been creating musical solutions for mainstream media, wellness interventions, and global healing strategies for decades. A winner of Emmy and ASCAP awards for his work in media and music production, Gary co-created the globally acclaimed audiobook, Graceful Passages, which has supported multitudes to embrace their mortality with greater acceptance and compassion. He co-created the award-winning Safe In the Arms of Love: Deepening the Essential Bond with Your Baby with Lisa Rafel and David Surrenda, Ph.D,, supporting parents to form deeper bonds with their newborns. Gary produces Gaia streaming series TV’s Islands of Inner Peace.Having spoken on countless podcasts and webinars, Gary promotes a greater understanding of the power of music to reconnect to what matters most.

He is the co-author of 4 books, including Safe in the Arms of Love: Deeping the Essential Bond with your Baby. He was founder and Dean of John F Kennedy’s Graduate School of Consciousness Studies, the first accredited school of its kind in the world. He has held leadership positions in 4 paradigm changing organizations that explore the interface between consciousness and human well-being. Dr. Surrenda is on the Board of the Rippel Foundation, which conducts transformative programs and research in health innovations.
